Are we at the brink of a New Nuclear Renaissance? Is there a renewed global interest in expanding nuclear power after decades of stagnation, especially in the face of a global energy crisis? Join us for this timely panel on nuclear energy, moderated by Tim Matthews and featuring industry experts Rich Powell, and Niko McMurray.
As countries work to meet climate goals, nuclear power is being reconsidered as a reliable, low-carbon source of electricity that can run continuously alongside renewable energy. Growing demand for power—driven by electrification, AI, data centers, and the return of energy-intensive industries—is adding urgency to this shift. Concerns about energy security, especially in the face of geopolitical tensions and fluctuating fuel prices, are also pushing nations to diversify how they generate electricity. From advanced reactor technologies to shifting public perception, this discussion will explore whether nuclear energy is poised to play a central role in powering the world’s future.
