Meet the Columbia Center for Radiological Research

Thursday, September 22, 2016 6-8pm

Columbia University and especially Columbia University Medical Center (CUMC) are growing, adding new clinical areas and bringing attention to areas that are not well known. One of these, the CUMC Center for Radiological Research (CRR) (www.crr.columbia.edu ) the nation’s foremost research center devoted to studying the human health effects of radiation exposure, is celebrating its 100 anniversary this year.

In celebration of the Center’s 100th anniversary, a commitment has been made to inform the wider public about the important and vital research taking place at the CRR to ensure the CRR will continue to provide essential research and educational expertise to our nation’s leaders, policy makers and regulatory authorities in the decades ahead.

The Center for Radiological Research Advisory Council, composed of leaders in finance, law, government and business, is hosting a series of events designed to inform Columbia alumni about the Center and its research activities.  A small, intimate gathering is being planned for the Washington DC area for September 22nd at the offices of Sidley Austin LLP, (1501 K Street NW) from 6:00 to 8:00 pm and we would like to invite you to join us!

This event is FREE.
