You are cordially invited to join us in this ColumbiaDC exclusive event to experience an unrivaled and exquisite line of single malts (12YO, 15YO, 18YO, & 21YO) and more with Glenfiddich National Ambassador and fellow Columbian Allan Roth, MA '06, M. Phil '08, POLS.

The event will begin with a welcome reception that features passed hors d’oeuvres and welcome cocktails at the terrace.  Next, the guests will be seated for a presentation by Allan Roth, to learn about the origins and process of creating the world’s finest scotches, and to discover the rich history behind the world’s Most Awarded Single Malt. This will be followed by a tasting journey though the excellent Glenfiddich marks.  The event will commence with mingling, networking, and of course chatting with our host Allan.

All proceeds will be donated to ColumbiaDC.

An academic by training and a whisky lover by the grace of God, Allan found his calling in sharing, tasting and teaching about whisky. After completing an MA and M. Phil in Political Science at Columbia University, Allan combined his passions research and whisky with an innate love of hospitality and learning. Over the past four years, Allan has taught whisky classes and led tastings across a variety of New York City’s great venues for whisky and spirits including the Astor Center, Flatiron Room, and Maysville. In addition to these classes and tastings, Allan worked as a server at the NoMad and managed the beverage program at the pioneering Brooklyn whisky bar and restaurant Char No. 4. Allan lives in Brooklyn, New York but enjoys fine drams of Glenfiddich everywhere
